Bishop Ray Field, Auxillary Bishop of Dublin

Bishop Field was ordained Auxiliary Bishop of Dublin in September 1997. Prior to that he was Head Chaplain to the Defence Forces.

Bishop Field lives in Blanchardstown, Dublin and has pastoral responsibility for the North West Area of the Diocese (39 parishes).

He is the Diocesan Representative for Healthcare and chairs the Council for Healthcare of the Irish Bishops’ Conference.

Bishop Field also chairs the Council for Immigrants of the Irish Bishops’ Conference.
